Day 1Arrive Jaipur

Welcome to your 'Folklands and Forts of Rajasthan' tour. On arrival at the airport railway station in Jaipur you will be met and transferred to the hotel.Jaipur - the city of victory presides over the fascinating desert state and it is surrounded by rugged hills each crowned by aformidable fort an Beautiful palaces mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts.Enjoy a city tour of Jaipur.In the afternoon,proceed on a city tour of Jaipur visiting the fabulous City Palace and Jantar Mantar.Later, visit Jantar Mantar also known as Astronomical Observatory, which exhibits a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Sawai Jai Singh, as he was particularly interested in learning about astronomy. Jantar Mantar a UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest of five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the early 18th century.

Day 3Jaipur - Jodhpur

Transfer from hotel in Jaipur to hotel in Jodhpur, en route visit the Brahma Temple.After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Jodhpur, en route you will stop at the holy city of Pushkar to visit the famous Brahma Temple. Life in Pushkar, today, revolves around its lakeside ghats, temples and vibrant, colourful bazaars, and it is this harmonious mix of the spiritual and commercial elements, that draw millions of tourists and devotees to Pushkar. On arrival, check in to the hotel in Jodhpur.The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city.

Day 5Jodhpur - Udaipur Via Ranakpur

Transfer from hotel in Jodhpur to hotel in Udaipur, en route visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple.After breakfast, proceed to Udaipur, en route visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple.Ranakpur Jain Temple excels as an exquisite work of art and architecture. The temple was built by a wealthy Jain businessman named Dharma Shah under the patronage of the liberal and gifted Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha the King of Udaipur in the 15th century.On arrival, check in to the hotel in Udaipur.The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Day 7Depart Udaipur

Today, bid farewell to your 'Folklands and Forts of Rajasthan' tour, as you are transferred to the airport / railway station in Udaipur, for your onward journey.

Day 2Jaipur

Visit the famous Forts and Palaces of Jaipur.After a leisurely breakfast , drive outside Jaipur to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amer Fort followed by a visit to Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort.The Amer fort is also known as the Amber fort. The construction of Amber fort was started by Raja Mansingh in the 16th century and was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th Century.Thereafter, enjoy a photo-stop at the 'Palace of Winds' otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. It was named so because it was a high screen wall built to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen.The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

Day 4Jodhpur

Explore Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, visiting places like the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that's now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborated royal palanquins. Set on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted in the city's iconic shade of blue.To the left of the Mehrangarh Fort complex is the Jaswant Thada, built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in commemoration of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II in 1899.The rest of the day is at leisure or one can opt to visit the clock tower and the local markets in Jodhpur.

Day 6Udaipur

Enjoy a visit to the City Palace and Saheliyon Ki Bari.After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur visiting the City Palace and Saheliyon Ki Bari.Built by the Sisodia clan in 1559, the City palace in Udaipur is a complex of various buildings that has been fortified over the period of 400 years.Later, visit the Saheliyon Ki Bari also known as 'Garden of the Maids', was laid for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. It is a major garden and a tourist place which has fountains and wonderful flora surrounding it.The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the onward journey to your destination.
